Real name Ivan Arturo Barioli, Artie 5ive is an Italian rapper born in Milan on August 28, 2000. The son of an Italian father and a Sierra Leonean mother, he grew up in the Bicocca district of Milan. His stage name combines his middle name, Arturo, with a reference to the five main streets in his native neighborhood. Introduced to music by his older brother, Artie 5ive is inspired by the Detroit drill style, characterized by fast tempos, heavy bass and explicit lyrics. He made his debut in 2020 with the single "Finché siamo sbronzi", followed by "Red bandana" and "Calabasas". In 2022, he gained notoriety with tracks like "DEM" with Kid Yugi and Tony Boy, "Paramedici", "Ready Rock" and "Tookie Williams". In 2023, his collaboration with Rondodasosa on "Ready 4 War" and the release of "ALBV" catapulted him to national prominence. His debut EP, Aspettando la bella vita, released in July 2023, reaches number 8ᵉ on the FIMI chart and is certified platinum. The album includes hit tracks such as "Anelli e collane" with Anna and "Top G". In October 2023, the single "Cadillac" is his first Italian No.1, certified double platinum. In December of the same year, he collaborates with Rondodasosa on the album Motivation 4 the Streetz, which reaches No. 4. In 2024, Artie 5ive takes part in the track "I Love It" with rapper Anna, taken from the album Vera Baddie. In 2025, he releases his second studio album, La bellavita, featuring collaborations with Guè ("Milano Testarossa"), Niky Savage ("Bambola") and Kid Yugi ("Pietà"). The album debuts at number one in the FIMI chart, with seventeen of its tracks simultaneously appearing in the singles chart.
