Bad Suns are an American rock band from Woodland Hills, California, known for their infectious blend of indie rock, alt-pop, and post-punk influences. Formed in 2010, the band quickly gained recognition for their dynamic sound, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics that have captivated audiences worldwide. Bad Suns consists of Christo Bowman (lead vocals, guitar), Gavin Bennett (bassist) and Miles Morris (drums), with Skyler Leon playing guitar for the first two years of their existence. Bad Suns' debut album, Language & Perspective, released in 2014, marked their arrival on the US alt-rock scene. The album’s standout singles, including "Cardiac Arrest", "Salt", and "Heaven is a Place in My Head" earned the band widespread acclaim for their ability to blend catchy hooks with a fresh, cinematic sound. Their infectious melodies and introspective lyrics quickly gained them a dedicated fanbase, propelling them to the forefront of the US indie rock movement. They have released a number of albums for Epitaph Records, including 2022's Apocalypse Whenever. The group landed a spot on the US Top 40 Radio Alternative Songs chart with "Communicating" in 2025.
