Belinda Peregrin Schüll, who goes by just her first name, is a Spanish-born actress and singer who grew up in Mexico where she became a child star on television and went on to a successful acting and singing career with several hit albums and singles. She appeared in the telenovelas 'Aventuras en el Tiempo' and 'Cómplices al Rescate' in which she played twins and sang the title song which reached number eleven on Billboard's Tropical Songs Chart and number 31 on the Latin Pop Songs Chart. She appeared on soundtrack albums for both shows and in 2003 she made her international recording debut with an eponymous release that went to number six on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and number 28 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. She has had six songs on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs Chart including one in the top 20, 'Bella Traicion' in 2007. It featured on 'Utopia', which reached number four on Billboard's Top Latin Albums Chart and number eight on the Latin Pop Albums Chart in 2006. 'Carpe Diem' (2010) went to number three on the Latin Pop Chart and peaked at number 12 on the Latin Albums Chart and 'Catarsis' (2013) reached number two and four. She co-starred in the 2006 Disney Channel film 'The Cheetah Girls 2', dubbed roles in the animated films 'The Tale of Despereaux' (2008) and 'Las Aventuras de Tadeo Jones' (2012) and she appeared in the 2017 feature film 'Baywatch'. In 2017 she released the single 'Bailalo' and in 2019 she was brought in as a coach for the first season of the 'La Voz', the Mexican version of 'The Voice'.
