Big Boogie

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 11, 1996, rapper John Earl Lotts aka Big Boogie grew up in Memphis, where he stayed to pursue his career. After an impoverished childhood and a difficult adolescence, he focused on music, releasing his first Definition of Pain mixtape in 2017, the first part of a trilogy completed by Pain on Paper 3 the same year and Final Chapter in 2019. Close to Yo Gotti, who took him under his wing, he was signed to the Collective Music Group label, under which the album Final Nightmare was released in 2020, with contributions from Gotti, MoneyBagg Yo and Dej Loaf. The same year sees the release of UnderRated, enhanced by a deluxe version of twenty-six tracks. The success of "Pop Out" on social networks helped promote the following album Definition of Big Dude (2023) and his collaboration with DJ Drama on Redrum Wizard (Gangsta Grillz) (2024), featuring Lola Brooke and GloRilla. The latter is also featured on Ether, released the same year, alongside 42 Dugg and YTB Fatt as other collaborators.
