As an important part of the Berlin hip-hop crew BHZ, Big Pat has long been known beyond the capital's borders. The rapper from the Schönefeld neighborhood, who also follows the basic stylistic recipe of boom bap, lo-fi and old-school influences for his solo music, really took off for the first time in 2017: The EP Bananashake was released in the presence of his regular band. the BHZ album debut 2826 followed in 2018. That same year, the MC turned his attention to Hamburg, where the multi-talented Booz was waiting for him. Together they create the trap single "On Point" (2018), produced by KazOnDaBeat. Also in 2018, Big Pat's EP Nova is released, which raises the profile of the entire Bananahaze gang once again. After a total of four BHZ albums in 2019(Kommaklar, Game Over, Dunklschwarz and 3062), Big Pat also started to shake up the German single hit lists in 2021: "Church" (feat. Monk and Dead Dawg) goes to number 84, while "Halligalli", which also features Dresden's 01099 as well as Longus Mongus, Gustav, Ion Miles, Paul & Zachi, comes in at number 92. in 2022, Big Pat presents the solo track "Heartkold", which reaches number 15 in the German single trend charts.
