Blackout Problems is an alternative rock band from Germany that was founded in 2012. The founding members include singer and guitarist Mario Radetzky, bassist and singer Marcus Schwarzbach and drummer Michael Dreilich. After several mixtapes and EPs, Blackout Problems released their debut album Holy in 2016. The longplayer immediately made it to number 57 in the German charts. Numerous concerts and festival appearances follow. Another album, Kaos, followed in 2018. The album made it into the top 30 in the German charts at number 25. Three years later, an even bigger success. The album Dark made it into the top 20 in Germany at number 12. The band is now also attracting international attention. In 2023, Blackout Problems toured England and Europe together with Enter Shikari for a few gigs. In February 2024, Blackout Problems released their fourth studio album, Riot. The longplayer climbs into the German Top 10 at number 5.
