Bnkr44 is an art-punk collective hailing from Empoli, Tuscany, Italy who swiftly rose to prominence on the national music scene after forming in 2019. Comprising members Fares (Pietro Serafini), Erin (Dario Lombardi), Caph (Marco Vittiglio), JxN (Jacopo Adamo), Faster (Andrea Locci), and Piccolo (Duccio Caponi), the genre-blending group merge elements of pop, rap, and electronic music to create a distinctive sound that has earned them acclaim across the board. Bnkr44 began their musical journey on SoundCloud before releasing their debut album 44.Deluxe in 2020 via the label Bomba Dischi. The follow-up, Farsi male a noi va bene, arrived in 2021 and they have since released two more LPs: Farsi male a noi va bene 2.0 in 2022 and Fuoristrada in 2023. That same year, they took part in the renowned Sanremo Music Festival with their Sethu-assisted cover version of "Charlie fa surf," originally by Baustelle. Also in 2023, they broke the top three of the Sanremo Giovani with their song "Effetti speciali," paving the way for a place in the Sanremo Music Festival 2024, where they performed "Governo Punk." That single made it into the Italian top 20 and they kept up the momentum on follow-up effort "Ma che idea," which peaked at number 21. 2024 also saw the release of new single "Estate 80."
