Brad Cox, hailing from Jindabyne, New South Wales, is an Australian country singer-songwriter. Born in 1995, Brad's passion for music was ignited by the songs he heard on the car stereo as a child. Beginning piano lessons during his primary school years, Brad's musical journey expanded as he started playing drums in a high school band and performing cover gigs at the age of 14. At 15, he delved into listening to and writing country music, drawing inspiration from artists who challenge the genre as well as his own personal experiences. In January 2018, Brad achieved a significant milestone by winning the Toyota Star Maker award at the Country Music Awards of Australia (CMAA). This success paved the way for his self-titled debut studio album, released in May 2018, featuring the well-received singles "Too Drunk to Drive" and "Lake House." Brad's subsequent releases, including the album My Mind's Projection in November 2020 and the EP What's Your Favourite Country Song? in May 2021, showcased his growth as a songwriter and performer. With the release of his third studio album, Acres, on May 5, 2023, Brad further solidified his presence in the industry, charting at number 7 on the ARIA Top 50 Albums chart.
