Country-rock singer born in Woodstock, Georgia, on February 4, 2000, Bryce Leatherwood is the winner of the American TV show The Voice in 2022. Guided by the great names of country music in his youth, he learned to play guitar and wrote his first songs in parallel with his studies. Captain of his high-school wrestling team, he turned to music and signed up for auditions for the 22nd season of The Voice. Qualifying for the final round, he performed songs by Conway Twitty, Brooks & Dunn, Zac Brown, Travis Tritt, Morgan Wallen, Justin Moore and Keith Whitley, as well as Whitney Houston. On December 13, 2022, he made it to the finals and won with a Blake Shelton song, ahead of the interested party. Signed by Universal, he toured and released his first single, "The Finger", in December 2023, to great acclaim on listening platforms. A few weeks later, in 2024, he released "Neon Does", "The One My Daddy Found" and his first hit, "Hung Up on You", which he performed at the Grand Ole Opry and reached number 60 on the country radio charts. Early 2025 saw the release of his new single "Where the Bar Is", in the country-rock tone that characterizes his songs.
