Caio Luccas, born Caio Gabriel dos Reis Faria in 1996 in Belford Roxo, Rio de Janeiro, began his musical journey playing guitar at the age of eight. He made his debut in 2019 with the EP The Journey, marking his entry into the Brazilian rap scene. His growing presence led to an invitation from Filipe Ret in 2021 to open a show in Vitória. In 2022, he signed with Nadamal Records and released Nova Moda, a 16-track album featuring standout songs like "Dinheiro e putaria," "Até o final," and "Minha vida." The track "Dinheiro e putaria," a collaboration with Dallass and MC Cabelinho, became a viral hit in 2023, surpassing 31 million views on his channel. That same year, he dropped Virus Love, which included collaborations with L7nnon, Luccas Carlos, Oruam, and MC Cabelinho, further cementing his status in the trap scene. His 2024 release, Apocalipse, expanded his reach with 17 tracks, including "War," which racked up over 35 million streams on streaming. The album boasted features from Veigh, Tz da Coronel, MC Ryan SP, Filipe Ret, and others, solidifying Caio Luccas as a force in contemporary Brazilian rap.
