Orochi, born Flávio Cesar Costa de Castro on March 24, 1999, in São Gonçalo, Brazil, is a rapper, singer, and entrepreneur who began his career at just 14, quickly rising through Rio de Janeiro’s battle rap scene with victories in the renowned Batalha do Tanque and becoming the youngest champion of Duelo de MCs at age 16. After gaining viral fame with his freestyle videos on social media, he officially debuted in 2018 with "Asterix and Obelix" alongside Batz Ninja, followed by his solo single "Mainstreet." Orochi established himself as a key figure in Brazil's trap-funk scene, co-founding Mainstreet Records, and achieving massive success with his debut album Celebridade in 2020. His follow-up albums Lobo (2021) and Vida Cara (2023), including the Deluxe version, expanded his reach, blending street narratives with sharp lyricism. In 2022, he took the stage at Rock in Rio's Espaço Favela, further solidifying his reputation as one of Brazil's leading rap artists. Continuing his prolific output, Orochi released 442 in 2024 and the mixtape Para Todas do Job, followed by Mixtape Chiró in 2025, consistently pushing boundaries in the urban music scene while collaborating with top Brazilian artists.
