Cassyette

Inspired by '80s new wave, hard rock and hardcore punk, the Chelmsford, Essex-born singer known as Cassyette (30th March 1993) got her start as a DJ on the London live circuit after graduating from the University of Westminister with a degree in commercial music. She dropped her debut single "Push N Pull" in 2018 via AWAL and has since racked up a string of singles, including "Jean" and "Devil Inside" (2019) via The Orchard and "Dear Goth," "Prison Purse," "Petrichor," and "Behind Closed Doors" in 2021. In 2022, she plunged headfirst into pop-punk for her empowerment anthem, "Sad Girl Summer," which she shared alongside an acoustic version of her energetic 2022 single "Mayhem" and new track "Dead Roses." Her debut album This World Fucking Sucks, a fiery exercise in dog-collared-studded alternative pop, arrived in 2024 and went to number 39 in the UK.
