Céline Bonacina

A saxophonist trained at various conservatories, Céline Bonacina (born 1975) combines her teaching career with a career on the jazz scene. A long stay on Reunion Island led to the formation of an ensemble and the recording of a first self-produced album, Vue d'En Haut, released in 2005. Back in metropolitan France, Céline Bonacina continues to teach, and pursues her band adventure with the albums Way of Life (2010) and Open Heart (2013). She then opted for an acoustic quartet formula on Crystal Rain (2016), recorded with Gwilyn Simcock (piano), Chris Jennings (double bass) and Asaf Sirkis (drums, percussion).
