Better known as Che, rapper Chase Shaun Mitchell was born in Atlanta on August 29, 2006. He began his musical career under other pseudonyms, first CheRomani and then CheRomani+), then from 2020 as Murkio! A member of the 4ersona and Nephilim collective, he frequently collaborates with producer Specxfic and made a new name for himself with the social networking hit "Off the Lot Remix" in 2021. He continues to alternate the CheRomani+ moniker between releases at a steady pace under the Che moniker, notably with "The Final Agenda" and "Euphoria" in 2022. In addition to three EPs released under the Che name, including Before Crueger and Crueger in 2023, the rapper released an album of previously unreleased tracks entitled X and another of new material, Closed Captions, the same year. In 2024, he followed this up with Sayso Says, which reached number 17 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart.
