Ch!pz is a Dutch teen pop band formed in Amsterdam in 2003. Consisting of Rachel "Rach-L" van Hoogen, Cilla "C!lla" Niekoop, Peter "P3ter" Rost, and Kevin "Kev!n" Hellenbrand, the group made its debut with the singles "Ch!pz in Black (Who You Gonna Call)" and "Cowboy" in 2003. Despite being considered by many as 'too childish,' their songs quickly reached the top of the singles charts in the Netherlands after being heavily promoted on Fox Kids. Both tracks were included in their first studio album The Adventures of Ch!pz (2004), which peaked at Number 2 on the Dutch charts. A second album titled The World of Ch!pz arrived in 2005 and cracked the Top 10 in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria, obtaining platinum certification shortly after. Following the release of the albums Past: Present: Future (2006) and CDX (Ch!pz Dance Xperienz) (2007), the four-piece disbanded in 2011 after a falling out with their label. They reunited once again in 2018 after an April Fools joke suddenly renewed interest among their fanbase.
