Christopher

In a relatively short period, Danish singer and actor Christopher Lund Nissen (January 31, 1992), or simply Christopher, went from posting cover videos on his personal streaming channel to becoming one of the fastest rising stars in Danish pop. Born in Frederiksberg, Christopher made his debut at the age of 19 with the 2011 single “Against the Odds,” included in his studio debut Colours (2012). Propelled by the Top 10 singles “Nothing in Common” and “Mine, Mine, Mine,” the album climbed to number 4 on the Danish charts and was certified gold. He followed up with Told You So in 2014, which featured his first number 1 single, “CPH Girls” and peaked at number 2 on the Hitlisten. A third album titled Closer hit the shelves in 2016, quickly reaching the top of the charts thanks to the chart-topping hit “I Won’t Let You Down.” In the following years, Christopher returned with Under the Surface (2019) and released a handful of singles including “Ghost” (2020), “Leap of Faith” (2020), and “Good to Goodbye” (2021), a collaborative effort with Swedish singer Clara Mae that hit number 39 on the Danish Singles Chart. All of these singles were later featured in My Blood, his fifth full-length album, released in March 2021. In 2022, he issued the non-album single "When I Get Old," followed by an appearance in the 2023 film A Beautiful Life. "Hope This Song Is for You," part of the movie's original soundtrack, went to number 5 on the Danish charts. Later that year, Christopher cracked the Danish Top 10 once again with the non-album single "Valdes jul."
