Mads Langer is a pop/rock singer from Denmark, where songs like "Overgir mig langsomt" and "I en stjerneregn af sne" topped the national charts during the early 2010s. He was born as "Mads Lillelund Langer" in Aabenraa on January 14, 1984, and moved to Copenhagen after finishing high school. Attention Please, his debut album, was released by Copenhagen Records in 2006, followed by the self-titled Mads Langer in 2009. Featuring the hit singles "Fact-Fiction" and "You're Not Alone," Mads Langer charted at Number 12 on the Danish charts and earned Langer a record deal with Sony Music. Behold, his major-label debut, charted at Number 2 in 2011, followed two years later by the platinum-selling Number 1 record In These Waters. Side Effects was released in 2014. Featuring the Number 3 hit "Bringing Back Tomorrow" and other collaborations with fellow singer-songwriter Tim Christensen, the record received a GAFFA Award for "Danish Rock Album of the Year." Langer returned to his solo career with 2016's Reckless Twin, which marked his second studio album to top the Danish charts. After earning Top 20 singles with releases like 2017's "Flawless" and 2018's "Tag mig med," Langer peaked at Number 24 with a new studio release, Where Oceans Meet, in late 2021.
