The Christopher Shayne Band is an American Southern rock group led by Arizona-based musician Christopher Shayne, better known as the frontman for the Phoenix country blues-rock outfit Whiskey Six. Joined by former Whiskey Six guitarist Dave Lansing, he embarked on his solo journey in 2016, releasing the album Turning Stones via Redlyne Records. Produced by Chuck Alkazian, Turning Stones delved deep into the American songwriting tradition, blending hard rock with Americana, blues, and gospel on tracks like the hard-hitting album opener "Give a Damn." Over the following years, Christopher Shayne and company toured relentlessly across the United States, making appearances at NASCAR races in Phoenix and opening for outlaw country artist Shooter Jennings. Broken / Scarred, their first EP, came out in 2019 and was followed by other well received-singles such as "Bad Guy" (2020), "Niceride" (2021), and "One More Round" (2022) which entered the Top 40 Radio Mainstream Rock Songs chart at Number 37 in 2023. A second EP titled Ten High hit the shelves later that year.
