Ciro Quiñonez

Ciro Quiñonez is a Colombian singer-songwriter from Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, known for blending vallenato and música popular with emotionally charged lyrics and a distinctive style. His passion for music began in childhood, leading him to master multiple instruments and form the vallenato group La Wave Vallenata, with which he released his first album, Con Muchas Ganas. In 2008, he debuted as a solo artist with Terco, later signing with Codiscos and gaining recognition with hits like "Corazón" and "Sueño." Transitioning from vallenato to música popular in 2018, Ciro Quiñonez found widespread success with “Regalada Sales Cara,” a collaboration with Yeison Jiménez that amassed millions of views. His 2020 releases “Hasta el Amanecer” and “Como No Creer en Dios” further cemented his place in the genre. Between 2021 and 2022, he released tracks like "Justo Ahora" and "Mami," leading up to the 2023 album Euforia, which included fan-favorites such as "Hasta Luego" and "Pico y Chao." In 2024, he joined Pipe Bueno and Jessi Uribe for the remix of "Regalada Sales Cara" and continued his streak with new singles like "A Lo Hecho Pecho" and "Pregúntale a Mi Ex," securing his status as a leading voice in música popular.
