Revealed in 2018 with the feminist song "La Grenade", Clara Luciani sang in the group La Femme before starting a solo career crowned by two Victoires de la Musique. Born in Martigues (Bouches-du-Rhône) on July 10, 1992 in a family of Corsican and Sicilian origins, Clara Luciani studied art history and various food jobs before trying her luck in music. In 2011, she met the synthetic pop-rock group La Femme and sang on the album Psycho Tropical Berlin (2013), then formed the duo Hologram with Maxime Sokolinski, the brother of the singer SoKo. A guitarist, she accompanied the singer Raphaël on tour and launched her solo career with the EP Monstre d'Amour (2017), produced by Benjamin Lebeau (The Shoes) and Ambroise Willaume (Revolver). Her first album, Sainte-Victoire (2018), enjoyed growing success thanks to the title "La Grenade", ranked No. 5 in Belgium and No. 22 in France. On February 8, 2019, the day the album was reissued with four new tracks including the duet "Qu'est-ce que t'es beau" with Katerine, she won a first Victoire de la musique in the "stage revelation" category, followed by a second award, that of female performing artist of the year, in 2020. After a duet with Franz Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos, on a cover of Lee Hazlewood ("Summer Wine"), Cœur was released in June 2021, a second album with a more danceable pop tone promoted by the tracks "Le Reste" (No. 19 in Belgium, No. 42 in France) and "Amour toujours", featuring a guest appearance by Julien Doré.
