Clarika can be considered the big sister of the female singers on the new French scene. Since her debut album, J'attendrai Pas Cent Ans! in 1993, the young woman has been turning the rainbow of feelings into a series of quality albums, backed by her mentor and husband Jean-Jacques Nyssen. She scored a hit with "Les Garçons dans les vestiaires " (2001) and surprised even more with Moi en Mieux in 2009. 2013 saw the release of the rockier La Tournure des Choses, recorded in New York with producer Mark Plati. The next album, De Quoi Faire Battre Mon Coeur (2016), was produced by Fred Pallem.
