Cysoul

Cysoul, whose real name is Founda Etoundi Cyril, is a singer of Cameroonian origin born in 1999 in the town of Mbalmayo in central Cameroon. With a passion for music, he began using his singing talents in choirs at the age of 9. After taking part in a number of competitions, which confirmed his conviction that he had an artistic destiny ahead of him, he forged his experience within several groups, including Akanga Hart, Mozart Music Class, Djawal Group and 4ROARZ, which he founded with his singer friends Thomas Franck Mba, Serge Eyili and Patrick Mengue. Together, they even recorded an album, which never saw the light of day. In 2017, he moved to Douala, where he met his future beatmaker Deejay LB. The following year, his tracks "Bouge" and "C'est dans l'eau " paved the way for a 7-track EP called Eclosion, released in 2019. The same year, Cysoul followed up with the 12-track album Akiba, which means "Thank you", and recorded collaborations with Lydol, Skriim and Joyce Babatunde. In 2021, he delivers a second 7-track project calledIllusions, featuring tracks such as "Mouto", "Je sais" and "Ma route". In 2022, he followed this up with the singles "Je tombe aussi" and "Mon amour", before collaborating with Pit Baccardi on the single "Doucement" in 2023.
