Davinhor, whose full name is Davinhor Makwala, is a Congolese rapper born on March 7, 1997 in Kinshasa. In 2000, her family fled the conflicts in Congo to settle in France, passing through Paris, Gien and Compiègne. Passionate about athletics from the age of five, she joined a sports-study program as a teenager. In 2019, Davinhor made a name for herself when she appeared on the Planète Rap show alongside Niska, performing her single "J'suis quelqu'un". This performance opens the doors to Universal Music France and the Capitol Music France label. In 2020, she launched a series of freestyles entitled Coopérer. The following year, she took part in the documentary Reines: pour l'amour du rap, produced by Canal+, alongside Chilla, Le Juiice, Vicky R and Bianca Costa. On March 25, 2022, she released her debut album, Indomptable. Davinhor draws her inspiration from American hip-hop of the 1990s and 2000s, citing artists such as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Foxy Brown and Lil' Kim. His music is characterized by hardcore rap mixed with a variety of influences, reflecting his rich and diverse background.
