A Swiss conductor with a fiery temperament, Diego Fasolis (b. 1958) has established himself as a specialist in Baroque music, with a predilection for choral and sacred repertoires. Trained at the Zurich Conservatory and School of Music, he studied piano, organ, singing and conducting. After being appointed conductor of the RTSI (Swiss Italian Radio and Television) Orchestra in 1986, Diego Fasolis founded the Vanitas ensemble in 1995, followed by I Barrochisti in 1998.
