Di-Meh, whose real name is Mehdi Belkaïd, was born in Geneva on June 30, 1995, to an Algerian father and a Moroccan mother. An avid skateboarder, he discovered rap through this culture. His stays in Paris enabled him to collaborate with artists from the French and Belgian scenes, enriching his musical universe. In 2014, he co-founded the Superwak Clique collective with Makala, Slimka and other Geneva-based talents. After several EPs, he revealed himself with the track Focus (2017), taken from the mixtape Focus, Vol. 1. He continued with Focus, Vol. 2 (2018) and Fake Love (2019), buoyed by tracks like [Air Max]. In 2021, the album OV3 explores deep themes with tracks like [Tout là-haut]. In 2023, his album BEUS includes standout tracks such as [Sur la route] and [Ma vie], affirming his musical maturity. In 2024, his album OV3², with tracks like [Le Mauvais Pied], marked a turning point in his career. Today, Di-Meh is a key figure on the Swiss rap scene, appearing on prestigious stages such as the Dour Festival.
