Donnalyn Bartolome (July 9, 1994) is a singer, actress, and social media personality from the Philippines. Born in Oahu, Hawaii, into a Navy family, she settled in the Philippines during her teenage years and began posting videos online for her friends throughout the globe. Featuring everything from makeup tutorials to dance and cover songs, her channel rapidly grew in popularity, accumulating millions of followers in a relatively short period of time. This caught the attention of Filipino label Viva Records, which released her debut EP Kakaibabe in 2014. Both the EP’s title track and the single “LM4M” were featured on the soundtrack of the rom-com Diary ng Panget, further raising her public profile. More success followed in 2015 as Donnalyn Bartolome became the most-viewed Viva Records artist on video-sharing platforms thanks to the accompanying video for the single “Happy Break Up,” included in the EP of the same name. In the following years, she resumed her acting career, playing supporting roles in the films Bakit Lahat Ng Gwapo May Boyfriend (2016) and Cry No Fear (2018), and issued her first full-length, Surprise (2018). With her star on the rise, Donnalyn Bartolome returned to the forefront of the Filipino music scene with the singles “Social Media Goddess” (2020) and “OMO (On My Own),” released in 2021.
