Dree Low is the stage name of Salah Abdi Abdulle (September 17, 1994), a Swedish rapper of Somali descent and one of the lead exponents of gangsta rap in his native country. Born and raised in the district of Husby, Stockholm, he began rapping at a local youth center at the age of 16 and made his official debut in 2017 with the mixtape Jet Som i France, which was followed by the Top 10 EP No Hasta Mañana in 2018. A full-length sequel titled No Hasta Mañana 2 saw the light in 2019 and reached Number 2 on the Swedish charts, largely thanks to the platinum-selling single “Fram," featuring Yasin. That same year, Dree Low reached the top of the charts with the album Flawless and scored his first Number 1 single with the quadruple-platinum track “Pippi.” After making a cameo on Yasin’s chart-topping single “XO” in 2019, Dree Low achieved pole position once again with Flawless 2 (2020) and Priceless (2021), which contained the Top 5 single “Mimosa” and helped establish him as the most successful hip-hop act in Sweden.
