A former member of the Mafia K1 Fry collective, rapper Dry made his first solo appearance with the mixtape De La Pure Pour Les Durs, followed by the album Les Derniers Seront Les Premiers in 2009. In 2012, his track "Ma Mélodie" with Maître Gims became one of the rap hits of the year, followed by the success of the album Tôt ou Tard. Surrounded by The Shin Sekai, Maître Gims, Tal and Kayna Samet, Dry released Maintenant ou Jamais in October 2013.
