Duc-Z

Real name Ulrich Coco Djoumessi Tsague, Cameroonian singer and producer Duc-Z was born on October 27, 1987 in Douala. He was just ten years old when he began imitating his idol Michael Jackson at local fairs. While still a teenager, he founded the group Homonyme, fusing makossa and R&B with his acolytes Franky P and Armel Weladji. In 2003, the trio collaborated on the album Dis-moi by Cameroonian singer Alain Manga, and three years later, Duc-Z signed as a solo artist with the Big Boss Entertainment Kamer label. His debut album Art & Biz Attitude was released in 2010, followed a year later by the EP Prélude and the album Évolution , and in 2016 by the opus B.O.S.S (Bosser. Oser. Souffrir jusqu'au Succès). His best-known tracks include "Je ne donne pas le lait" in 2011 with Singuila and Pit Baccardi, "African Mamy" in 2012, "Voilà ça" and "Décharger " in 2016 and "C'Maintenant " in 2021.
