Born in Hope Hull, Alabama on May 3, 1999, Ella Langley is a country music singer-songwriter. She began her career by performing at local bars and country festivals in and around her hometown. She relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2019 and began to record several tracks - including “If You Have To,” “Damn You,” ‘Hey Ma, I Made It,” and “Country Boy’s Dream Girl” - in hopes of landing a record deal. She began to gain attention as a songwriter with several of her compositions recorded by Elle King and Runaway June. Her career picked up in 2023 when she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry and signed a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville. Ella Langley released her debut EP, Excuse the Mess (2023), which included “That’s Why We Fight” featuring Koe Wetzel. She then recorded a duet, “Strangers,” with Kameron Marlowe that was included on Marlowe’s 2024 album Keepin’ the Lights On. Ella Langley scored a country music hit in 2024 with the single “You Look Like You Love Me” (featuring Riley Green), which hit the Top 40 in the US, Canada, and Australia. The song was first single lifted from her debut album Hungover, which reached number 77 on the Billboard 200 and number 17 on the Country Albums chart.
