Dutch pop singer Eloy de Jong was born Eloy Francois Maurice Gilbert Charles Prosper de Jong on March 13, 1973 and made a name for himself in the early '90s as a member of the English-Dutch boy band Caught in the Act, who split up in 1998. He began his solo career following the group's demise, scoring a minor hit with his first single "Angel in Disguise" and keeping up the momentum across subsequent singles like "Regenbogen"(Rainbows) (2017), "Egal was andere sagen," (2018), and Liebe kann so weh tun (Love can hurt) (2018). In 2018, he topped the German charts with Kopf aus – Herz an and in 2020 with Auf das Leben – fertig – los!. He returned in 2022 with a new single "Ich sage ja" (You Raise Me Up).
