Erina Mano is a Japanese idol, singer, and actress. She was born on April 11, 1991, in Zama, Kanagawa. She embarked on her career in 2006 after joining Hello! Pro Egg, a training facility for aspiring singers under Hello! Project. By 2007, she was performing with the musical group Ongaku Gatas and playing for the Hello! Project futsal team Gatas Brilhantes H.P. Her solo career officially began on March 29, 2008, after her departure from Ongaku Gatas and Hello! Pro Egg. Erina Mano’s debut indie single, "Manopiano," was released in 2008. She quickly gained attention, opening concerts for notable acts within Hello! Project. In 2009, her major label debut, "Otome no Inori" (乙女の祈り, "Girl's Prayer")" was released, reaching number 5 on the Oricon weekly charts. That year, she released her first studio album, FRIENDS, followed by a second LP titled MORE FRIENDS in November 2010. In 2011, Erina Mano continued her musical journey with a solo concert tour and made her appearance at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea for her movie. By 2012, she was cast in the stage play Theatre In The Round alongside other Hello! Project members and released her third full-length album, More Friends Over. The following year, she graduated from Hello! Project. Despite stepping away from Hello! Project, Erina Mano has remained active in the entertainment industry, contributing to both music and acting in Japan.
