Eslabón Armado

The California-based Regional Mexican band Eslabón Armado was formed in 2019 by siblings Bryan and Pedro Tovar and Gabriel Hidalgo. Shortly after they began playing together, they were discovered by music entrepreneur Ángel del Villar and landed a record deal with his label DEL Records. That same year, they made their official debut with Navegando y Flotando, a five-track EP that featured the singles "Recuerdos de Tí," "Nada Me Va Mal," and "El Vato Tumbado." In 2020, their first studio LP Tu Veneno Mortal reached number 9 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart as several of the album's singles went viral on TikTok. They followed up later that year with the full-length Corta Venas, which reached number 1 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart. Following the release of Tu Veneno Mortal, Vol. 2 in 2021, Eslabón Armado broke into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 for the first time with 2022's Nostalgia. In the following years, Eslabon Armado continued to make significant strides in the regional Mexican music scene. In March 2023, they collaborated with Peso Pluma on the single "Ella Baila Sola," which became the first regional Mexican song to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 4. This track was featured on their sixth studio album, Desvelado, released in April 2023, which debuted at number six on the Billboard 200. In October 2024, they released their seventh album, Amor Perdido, under DEL Records. The group announced their first-ever Vibras de Noche Tour in Mexico for 2025, unveiling their eighth studio album Vibras de Noche 2 in March of that year.
