Born on November 17, 1982 in Quebec City (Canada), Evelyne Brochu is a Quebec actress and singer. She began her career in Patrick Sauvé's film Cheech , playing the role of a pharmacist in 2006. In 2010, she played Mylène Émard in the drama Mirador and starred in the thriller Grande Ourse : la Clé des Possibles . From 2011 to 2019, she takes part in the cast of several films and series, including Café de Flore, Polytechnique and Orphan Black . In 2016, she released the single " C'est l'été, c'est l'été, c'est l' été" in collaboration with Félix Dyotte, which achieved success on streaming platforms. The same year, she sang a duet with Stefie Shock on an album of covers of Gainsbourg songs, the track " Quoi ". In September 2o19, she launched her first album, Objets Perdus, co-written with songwriter Félix Dyotte. The song " Maintenant ou jamais " from this opus won the Prix de la chanson SOCAN in 2020. In 2022, she sings on the children's album Coucou les Amis! Nos Artistes Chantent Passe-Partout , the song " Où va l'eau ".
