Flumpool

Flumpool are a J-pop band from Osaka formed by childhood friends and guitarists Ryuta Yamamura and Kazuki Sakai. They have released several successful albums and played many sell-out tours in Japan. From 2002 they performed under the name of Cube with bassist Gemki Amakawa. In 2007 they added drummer Seiji Ogura and changed their name to Flumpool. Playing both rock and pop they released the singles 'Labo' and 'Hana Ni Nare'. Their debut mini-album 'Unreal' was also released in 2007. Their second album 'What's Flumpool!?' came out in 2009 and contained the hit single 'Hoshi Ni Negai O'. Vocalist Ryuta Yamamura had to take time off in 2010 for surgery on his vocal cords. Flumpool's next albums were 'Fantasia of Life Stripe' in 2011, 'Experience' in 2012 and 'EGG' in 2016. They released the singles 'Last Call' and 'Toutoi' in 2017. In 2019 they returned with the single 'Help'.
