Born on January 10, 1983 in Yopougon, a commune in the Abidjan district, Soukéi Franck made a name for himself under a more significant pseudonym, Francky Dicaprio. After dropping out of school, the young Ivorian took up djing and started out at Le Procureur in Yopougon, then in several bars on Abidjan's legendary Rue Princesse, including Ministère de la joie, Maquis Shanghai and Maquis la Station. But it was several years later that he expanded his audience with his single "Fatigué Fatigué", which quickly became a staple on RTI Music TV. A veritable sensation, the track, which is part of the coupé-décalé style, inspired a dance of the same name and lifted Dicaprio to the 2007 Black Music Awards, where he was the winner in Cotonou, Benin. This recognition gave him the opportunity to tour, both in Africa and in European countries. In 2009, he released "Sabari Dondo ", which, despite its dance appeal, failed to reach the heights of his previous hit. The arrival of the 2010s saw him less present on the production front, until 2018 when this musician affiliated with the third wave of coupé-décalé returned to the forefront with the tracks "Zokoto" and "Courez". His style evolves, with a more metallic, electronic-sounding production than before. His single "Bougement", released in July 2021, is in line with the productions of the moment, but does not match the success of "Fatigué Fatigué".
