GLK, or Ghix La Kalash, is a French rapper from Bobigny, a suburb in northeastern Paris. He made his first appearance on the underground rap scene with a series of freestyles in collaboration with Tunisiano, Gradur, and Sofiane, and featured on the remix of Alonzo’s “Y'a Rien à Faire.” After popping up on Gradur’s mixtape Sheguey Vara (2014), GLK was signed to 50K Éditions and dropped the “Bandito” freestyle series in 2015. That same year, he made his official recording debut with the EP Avant Murder, followed by his first mixtape Murder in 2016, reissued in 2017 with 9 additional tracks. GLK returned in 2018 with the album Un Jour ou l'Autre, which contained the hit single “Désolé.” In 2019, he signed a recording contract with Universal Music Group and had his first taste of success with the single “93% (Tijuana)” featuring Landy, Da Uzi, and Hornet la Frappe. The single reached Number 13 on the French charts and appeared on his second album Indécis in 2020. A second volume titled Indécis Part.2 ensued shortly after, followed by the 2021 single “BEP,” which placed at Number 75 on the French Top 100.
