GP Basic

GP Basic is a South Korean girl group comprising Zion, Trinity, Amet, Mooi, Hannah, Leah and Janey. The group was formed by Jacyhan International and marked their debut with the song "Game" in August 2010. Notably, the average age of the group members during their debut was 13 and a half years old, which stirred up considerable controversy. Janey, the group’s youngest member drew particular attention for her remarkable confidence, rap skills, and dance performances on stage. In November 2010, the group faced a setback when Janey was barred from performing on music shows due to new age-related regulations, however in 2011, GP Basic made a comeback, shocking fans with their striking blonde hair and performing singles like "Jelly Pop," "V," and "Christmas Carol" followed by "Ride the Edge" in 2012. In 2013, Janey was announced to be joining the girl group D-Unit as a guest member, stating her intention to return GP Basic in the same year, however in February 2014, after Leah's departure, the group released "Pika-Burnjuck" before eventually disbanding.
