Greeen

The German rapper and reggae musician Greeen was born Pasquale Valentin Denefleh on April 27, 1989 in Mannheim. The artist began his career as part of the duo die Zwei. in 2013 and 2014, he took part in various rap battles, including under his second pseudonym Grinch Hill. The first EP was released in 2013 with the title Alles grün. This was followed by further EPs such as Hippie 2.0 (2014) and Ach du Grüne Neune (2018). His first album, Vergessenes Königreich, was released in 2016 and reached number 33 in the German charts and number 63 in Austria. In the same year, he made it to the semi-finals of the online music competition Juliens Music Cypher. During this time, he created various collaborative works with Gary Washington, such as the single "Wolkenkratzer" (2017). His second album Smaragd was released in 2019 as well as a newer version of the album called Smaragd Plus with the tracks "Keine Zeit" and "Bruchteil". The album Highland followed the following year with the single "Ab & An". Highland makes it into the top 5 of the charts in Austria and Germany. Together with the musicians Hägi and Patwah, Greeen releases the album Hybrid in summer 2021. The album Das verlorene Album is released at the end of the same year. In June 2024, the single "Panama" reaches number 25 in Germany. At the same time, the EP Glückskind from 2023 enters the German charts at number 41.
