Hania Rani (born September 5, 1990 in Gdansk) is a pianist, composer and singer of neoclassical music from Poland. Born Hanna Raniszewska, she studied piano at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 2015, Hania Rani released the album Biała Flaga together with cellist Dobrawa Czocher. This is a neoclassical interpretation of songs by the Polish rock band Republika. Hania Rani's first solo album, Esja, was not released until 2019. The longplayer made it to number 65 in the charts in the UK and achieved gold status in Poland. The artist also achieved great popularity through her publications on social media. Inner Symphonies, another album together with Dobrawa Czocher, follows in 2021. The longplayer climbs to number 68 in Germany. Hania Rani is a celebrated artist in her native Poland. She is awarded the Polish music prize Fryderyks for her music, including in the categories Best Debut Album, Best Alternative Album and Best New Arrangement. In 2023, Hania Rani releases another solo album, Ghosts. The album climbed to number 52 in Germany.
