Born in Texas (June 26, 2001), country singer Harper Grace grew up in an environment where the genre was king. She took her first steps on stage at the age of eleven, and continued to perform in the surrounding area, before appearing on American Idol, where future country stars are paraded every year. During her audition in Nashville, she performed an original song, "Yard Sale", as well as a Khalid cover, "Young, Dumb & Broke", which won the jury's favor and saw her qualify for the next round in Hollywood, where her performance of "Rest in Peace" was not selected. Nonetheless invited to the final of the 16th season (2018), Harper Grace caught the public's attention and signed with the Curb Records label, under which "Yard Sale" (2018), "Sparkle" (2023), "Down on My Hometown" (2023) and the Christmas hit "Santa Baby" were released . Kicking off with a bang with the EP Break It Like a Man, 2024 continues with a new salvo of singles, including "Getaway", "Freedom" with Kelsey Hart, a cover of "Jolene" and "Country Christmas".
