The voice actress and singer Haruka Kudō was born on October 27, 1999, in Osaka, Japan. She began working as a model for the monthly fashion magazine Seventeen Japan and then rose to fame as the voice of Hagumi Hanamoto in the anime TV series Honey and Clover in 2005. During this time, she has also lent her voice to other anime shows such as Noein: To Your Other Self and Death Note. In 2016, Haruka Kudō joined the BanG Dream! music franchise and became the guitarist of the band Roselia, in which she played the fictional character Sayo Hikawa. A few years later, she announced her debut as a singer-songwriter with the release of her first mini-album KDHR (2020), which peaked at Number 14 on the Oricon Albums Chart. That year, Haruka Kudō also unveiled a second mini-album titled POWER CHORD.
