Born in Tokyo on May 29th, 1991, Saori Hayami is one of Japan's leading seiyuu, or voice actresses, who has been affiliated with voice talent management firm I'm Enterprise since first wowing the judges at an audition in 2006. Backed by three years of voice acting training, she made her anime debut in 2007 and scored her first major role as Momoka Kawakabe, the main heroine in Japanese adult visual novel Touka Gettan. Since then, she has built up a catalogue of voice acting works that traverse myriad anime-related characters, known best for her role as Kaede Takagaki in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls franchise, but also famed for other anime and character theme songs. In 2015, her character Yukino Yukinoshita won the Best Female Character Award at the Newtype x Machi Asobi Anime Awards and she has been hosting her own radio show Hayami Saori no Free Style since 2011, which picked up the prize for Best Comfort Radio in the general category at the 3rd Aniradi Awards in 2017. Her debut album Live Love Laugh was released in May 2016, with Junction following in 2018. A mini-album, Garden, was issued in 2020 and a new single, Guide, arrived in 2022. The Awake EP followed that same year.
