Helene Hokholt Olafsen (February 21, 1990) is a Norwegian TV presenter, singer, and former snowboarder. An Oslo native, she first jumped into the public eye in 2007 when she won the bronze medal at the Snowboarding World Cup at the age of 16. In 2010, she finished fourth at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Seven years later, she gained nationwide fame after winning the 13th season of the show Shall We Dance with future fiancée Jørgen Nilsen. From there on, she went on to become a mainstay of Norwegian TV, first working as a reporter for Eurosport/TV Norge at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea and then taking over the talk show Senkveld later that year. In 2021, Helene Olafsen participated in the show Norges Nye Megahit, in which celebrities compete to create a hit song. Her involvement in the program spawned the single “Ludvig Daae,” a winter-themed song about the owner of a slalom center that quickly climbed to the top of the charts in her native Norway.
