Hippo Campus

Hippo Campus is an American indie rock band from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Consisting of Jake Luppen, Nathan Stocker, Zach Sutton, and Whistler Isaiah Allen, the group formed while studying at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists. Tarzan Rejects, their debut EP, was released in 2013. Produced by Low's Alan Sparhawk, a second extended play titled Bashful Creatures saw the light in 2014 and was then re-released by Grand Jury Records in 2015. That same year, the EP South went to Number 16 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Preceded by the single "Boyish," Hippo Campus' studio debut Landmark (2017) hit Number 15 on Billboard's Top Alternative Albums chart and found the band embarking on their first international headline tour. The synth-based Bambi came out in 2018, followed by a collection of demos the following year. The band's prolific streak continued with the EP Good Dog, Bad Dream (2021) and 2022'S LP3, which contained the Adult Alternative Top 40 hit "Ride or Die". The band secured another hit in the same chart with "Paranoid", issued from the fourth album Flood (2024).
