The Japanese all-girl idol group HO6LA was formed in 2021 by producer and former idol Ichigo Rinahamu and the label 15STYLE Records. The band, consisting of Pan Luna Leafy, Wannyan Circuit DX!, Hachimitsu Umi, Wazurai, Emiru, and lead vocalist Kusunoki Roa, made their debut in October 2021 with the single "Pirikarira," which was penned by former BiS member Yokoyama Rina. Following the success of their digital single "Boooost!!" and "Fire Idol," their highly-anticipated studio debut Sonoichi climbed to Number 42 on the Billboard Japan Albums chart in June 2022.
