Hoya

Hoya, born Lee Ho-dong on March 28, 1991, in Busan, South Korea, later legally changed his name to Lee Ho-won. He is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, and actor who began his solo career in 2018 after leaving the boy band Infinite, where he was known as the group’s rapper and main dancer. He debuted with the mini-album Shower, marking his new path as a solo artist with a fresh musical style that showcased his vocal versatility and dance skills. His title track "Angel" highlighted his transition from group performances to a solo spotlight, reflecting a more personal artistry. Alongside his music, Hoya has gained acclaim as a dancer, appearing as a mentor on the KBS show Dancing High, where he guided young talents, further establishing himself as a respected figure in dance. Known for his dedication to the art, Hoya won accolades on Immortal Songs 2 and continues to explore varied styles in both music and performance. After completing his military service in December 2020, Hoya returned with the single album 1AM in June 2021, and in 2022, he signed with Initial Entertainment to further his solo career.
