True living legends of merengue pop, Vladimir Dotel, Victor Waill, Manuel Tejada and Roger Sanchez formed Los Ilegales in 1995 in the Dominican Republic. Los Ilegales have recorded eleven albums and won numerous awards, including a Billboard Award. They are the authors of popular hits from Latin America to the United States (" Chucucha", " La morena ", " Sueño Contigo "). In 2015, "La Pastilla" and its typical Latino pop rhythms titillated the European club charts.
