IMFACT

IMFACT is a South Korean boy band formed by the agency Star Empire Entertainment. The group, consisting of members Jeup, Taeho, Jian, Sang, and Ungjae, debuted in 2016 with the release of the single album Lollipop. Before their official debut, members like Jian had already dipped their toes in the industry, working as backup dancers for other artists while Sang was spotted by the entertainment company when he was just 3 years old. They released their second single album Prism and its lead single "Feel So Good" in late 2016. In 2017, the group fostered its audience by making monthly releases, fan meetings, and mini concerts. Their participation in the KBS Idol Rebooting Project The Unit further highlighted their dedication and talent, although none of the members made it to the final debut team. In 2018, IMFACT released the single "The Light" and also made their first UA appearance. That same year, they released the digital single "Nanana," which garnered positive reviews and was featured in Dazed magazine's Top 20 K-pop Songs of 2018. The group's first world tour followed in 2019, performing across Europe, Asia, and North America. IMFACT's first mini-album, titled LL, was released in 2020 and reached number 14 on the Circle Albums Chart. Shortly after, Jeup enlisted for his national service, and in 2021 members Taeho and Ungjae made their solo debuts. On January 4, 2022, Imfact departed from Star Empire Entertainment, with all members deciding not to renew their contracts. Despite this, the group has not officially disbanded, leaving the door open for future collaborations.
