PRISTIN was a short-lived South Korean girl group originally comprising ten members—Nayoung, Roa, Yuha, Eunwoo, Rena, Kyulkyung, Yehana, Sungyeon, Xiyeon, and Kyla—who formed under Pledis Entertainment in 2016. Their first promotional single, "We," arrived that June and was among the six tracks included on their debut mini-album Hi! Pristin, which was released in March 2017. The group unveiled a follow-up EP, Schxxl Out, in 2017, anchored by the single "We Like." A new sub-unit called Pristin V, composed of members Nayoung, Roa, Eunwoo, Rena and Kyulkyung, emerged in May 2018, accompanied by the single album Like A V. The original iteration of PRISTIN called it a day in May 2019, however, members Kyulkyung, Yehana, and Sungyeon remained with Pledis Entertainment.
